Wynns of Coonawarra

The image of the gabled winery that
has graced the front of every Wynns
label since the early fifties is, for
consumers, one the most recognisable
visual icons out of all Australian wine
brands. So much so, that when we
were briefed by the Wynns team to
upgrade their packaging as well as
design a new, innovative on-premise
range called The Gables, we thought it
was the perfect opportunity to make the
most of their famous woodcut. Despite
not having any other branding on the
front, The Gables is instantly identifiable
as a Wynns wine: the full wrap label
also helped create a new buzz around
this heritage brand.
